Christ Memorial Temple is a church whose purpose is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to serve people by creating a place of worship where the Presence and Power of God is manifest in every service. We are not a denomination. We are Pentecostal because we identify with the Day of Pentecost experience as recorded in Acts 2. We adhere without waver to Apostolic Doctrine. We believe in worship without inhibition and that the Power of God and Gifts of the Spirit are not only relevant for this day, but prevalent in every service.
We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.
We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4 ). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38.
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues. Acts 2:4
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps and government. Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11
We believe Godly living must characterize the life of every child of the Lord, and we must live according to the pattern and example given in the Word of God. "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world." (Titus 2:11-12) "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord." (Hebrews 12:14)(1 Corinthians 3:16-17, 2 Corinthians 6:17 - 7:1)
Born in Muncie, IN on May 1st to Eddie Jr. And Deborah Robinson. Eddie grew up in an apostolic home with a father who was also his pastor. In 1991 his father moved his family to attend church in Anderson, IN where his father would be the assistant pastor, then soon after becoming the senior pastor.
Although growing up in a Christian home, Eddie didn't receive the Holy Ghost until leaving the nest for college. He received a basketball scholarship to play for Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. and was able to play all four years also earning a degree in communications, specializing in Marketing and TV/Radio Broadcasting.
At the age of 21, while attending The Apostolic Church in Beaumont, TX, God filled him with the Holy Ghost. Eddie was able to use his talent to play basketball overseas in Sydney, Australia. The following year he received a phone call to play for the Dallas Mavericks.
While in training camp that summer, God began to deal with Eddie about ministry. So he left the sport he loved to chase after God. The next few years were spent in full time youth ministry in Lafayette, IN. Eddie has traveled all over the U.S. preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Eddie is married to his beautiful wife Tatjana. They have 4 beautiful girls named, Jordan and Londyn, Ava, and Karrington.
We believe that kids should have fun learning about Jesus every single week. At CMT, we make this a priority. Every Sunday we hold classes for all ages in our upstairs Sunday School wing. We then come together at the end for some worship and prayer.
The other thing we make a priority is your children's safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Sunday School program the first time that you and your children visit.
During Sunday Morning service, our Nursery has trained staff to take care of your children.
During Sunday and Wednesday night services, the Nursery will be open for mothers to take their children at any time. There is a live feed of the service streamed to the Nursery during all services.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" - Matthew 28:19-20
Jesus commanded his disciples to go to all nations and preach the Gospel, and in Acts 1:8, He comforts them with a promise to have the power to do so.
"TRUTH tv" was started so that the Gospel would be able to be spread throughout all of Tippecanoe County. Tune in every Sunday at 10:30 AM on WLFI-ABC.
If you miss a service, you will be able watch it on our YouTube channel.

One of the most difficult things to figure out as you start your journey with your walk with God is how to precisely do that. Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish..." As you advance from one course to the next, you will begin to see the spiritual growth in your personal walk. CYC is a great guide for those eager to advance in God's Kingdom.
